Occupied various posts within the Group and currently Managing Director of the Travel & Tourism Divisions. Was Chairman and for a while Executive Chairman of the Malta Tourism Authority between 2006 and 2009. Sam experienced in various spheres of industry, but more recently specialized in tourism and the cruise industry
Sales and Marketing Director
Mario de Celis has a wealth of experience in the tourism industry, which he acquired from years within the hospitality sector, having worked in leading four- and five-star hotels on the island. He started his career in the hospitality industry in 1974 at the Grand Hotel Verdala in Rabat after completing his studies at MCAST and is now considered a pioneer within the tourism industry.

Sue joined SMS in 2024 to spearhead the Inbound Tourism operation within the company. She brings with her 24 years of experience in the tourism industry having had long spells at Captain Morgan Cruises and a leading language school where she was responsible for product development, operations, sales and customer experience.
Operations Manager
Nathalie is one of the earliest employees at SMS Tourism, involved in tours, reservations, transport and shore operations, Her experience in tourism management has led her to manage the operations department comprised of reservations and transport which makes sure that every client’s expectations of their vacation to Malta are exceeded with the best quality suppliers the company has to offer.
